Anton Levski (BE)

Anton Levski was born in 2005. His name appears in a small book entitled "The Anton Levski Mystery" (published by Absinthe apparence – Minopuscule collection). It consists of a few writings attributed to Levski. We learn little or nothing about the author: "Anton Levski is an enigma. Attempting a biographical sketch of Anton Levski is like flirting with oblivion."

Anton Levski was born with words in his blood, but very quickly, he turned his attention to music. He first tortured a piano, extracting pseudo-romantic melodies and releasing three sound collections ("De Loin en loin," "La pudeur des Démons," "Le Profil des Angoisses"). Then a sampler burst onto the scene in his instrumental arsenal. With the help of DJ Curver, he produced a fragmented album ("Art Brut") before inviting guitars to enrich his sound.

Strings proved to be a true salvation for Levski, allowing him to express his initial attraction to punk and heavy metal, thus shedding his influences from Chopin and Keith Jarrett. Since then, his output has been released haphazardly on home-burned CDs and various social media platforms. In 2009, he participated in the first "Flesh Factory Festival" at the Rockerill in Charleroi before contributing to the soundtrack of the film "The Pursuit" (2010).

Since early 2014, Anton Levski has presided over the destinies of Curver Curver, a bizarre group whose universe owes much to imprecision and EBM, to chaotic bricolage and punk, to constant imposture and noise. Guitars, drum machines, and keyboards intertwine in a sonic lasagna whose layers have been patiently piled up to form a musical Tower of Babel in which even God wouldn't find his lost sheep.
