Unik Ubik (BE)

Unik Ubik

EN: Unik Ubik bursts back with a third album that drives the point home. This band is hands down the best cross-border Belgian-French fusion the music world has ever witnessed. Furious, delirious, wildly talented, and impossible to pin down, this crew comes with a punk attitude, a jazz allegiance, and a psychedelic streak.

Fueled by a genuine joy of playing, Unik Ubik’s members hold nothing back—mixing crushing riffs with ethnological escapades, sharpening their sound with unrestrained exploratory madness.

Unik Ubik hits where it hurts: a Hawaiian tire iron, a German roast. An astonishing, explosive blend of afrobeat, deconstructed rock, muzak, and undefined folklore. Sax and synth are definitely not here for background noise. And when the Duke shows up, he’s dancing cumbia... General Tournai!

And the good news? A fourth album was recorded in the summer of 2025!!
